BMA Northern Ireland FHO1 accommodation update

Accommodation will continue to be provided free of charge to all first year Foundation House Officers in 3 out of the 5 Trusts in Northern Ireland – Northern, Belfast and South Eastern Health and Social Care Trusts.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust will provide this accommodation free to those F1 doctors who have to travel more than 40 miles.
In the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, any F1 doctor who requires hospital accommodation will be expected to pay for this accommodation.
The Southern LNC will continue negotiations with the Trust to try and achieve a more favourable outcome.
