Keynote speakers

ICPH 2014 are delighted to welcome this year's keynote speakers Professor Dame Carol Black and Professor Jim Lucey.

Dame Carol Black's opening address focuses on the groundswell in approaches to health and work, discussing issues of longevity and the workplace.

Professor Jim Lucey's multimedia presentation, our closing address, focuses on how a dramatic moment in his career affected pilot Chesley Sullenberger, and what doctors can learn from his experience.

Each day, interactive small group sessions allow attendees to meet and build on their collective experience, share knowledge and discuss responses to their learning.

In the evening on Monday, we are holding an informal social event, offering an opportunity to meet fellow attendees over a light dinner, and enjoy a film screening on the theme of the conference: milestones and transitions. 


Forum theatre session

Consultants Conference 2013ICPH 2014 is excited to confirm an interactive forum theatre session at this year's conference, to be held Tuesday morning.

Using professional actors to explore one doctor’s life-changing transition, and its effects on her family and her team, the session brings the audience into the performance, imagining different responses and outcomes to situations.
