NIMDTA / SLE will provide you with a letter which will detail your previous strike deductions for each date of strike action, based on the original calculation method, and the revised recalculation / calculation based on the new methodology.

I didn't have any deductions taken from June strike action, what happens now?
A pause was placed on deductions until such a time a solution was found. Any doctor who took strike action in June 2024 got paid for the days they did not work and therefore it is appropriate that deductions are taken. Deductions for March, May and June's action will be taken from May 2025 pay. As mentioned before, all deductions that were taken last year will be refunded and then deducted using the new calculations. Therefore, your May pay should not be significantly lower than normal.
Full details of strike deductions made, and revised calculations and salary adjustments will be provided in the letter to be issued to you by NIMDTA / SLE.
Can I avail of the strike fund once the pay deductions are made?
No, applications for strike fund assistance must be made for each round of action ahead of the strike dates. You cannot retrospectively apply to the strike fund for a round of action that occurred in the past.
If I was on a LTFT contract at the time of the deduction, how will I be reimbursed and deducted?

Full details of strike deductions made, and revised calculations and salary adjustments will be provided in the letter to be issued to you by NIMDTA / SLE.
I took part in strike action during my maternity qualifying weeks. How will I be reimbursed and deducted?

I am a member of the HSC Pension Scheme. Will pension contributions be recalculated?
