Ultra processed food: where should regulation focus? BMA Board of science live webinar

Online event

UPF (Ultra-processed Food) has been in the spotlight over recent years and captured a lot of public attention. This is due to the poor health outcomes along with increased risk of obesity that these foods have been associated with.

The BMA Board of Science invites you to attend a webinar to explore the issues surrounding UPF. This includes what is needed to better understand and tackle the potential harms of UPF and how this fits with broader food and obesity policy strategies, such as current approaches to the regulation of foods high in salt, fat and sugar.
